After admitting to a
lifetime of body image issues and insecurities in her tell-all book, "True You: A Journey to Finding and Loving Yourself,"
Janet Jackson has taken "Control" of her fluctuating weight and unhealthy attitude towards food. As the icon celebrates her 46th birthday (May 16), she's revealed her
secrets to looking and feeling fabulous!
The new
NutriSystem spokesperson can obviously credit the diet program for helping her slim down, but Janet says there's more to her success than that. For starters, she has no idea how much she weighs! "I don't know how much weight I've lost, only because I stay away from the scale,"
she told PEOPLE. "I don't think [stepping on the scale] is healthy. You're setting yourself up to fail and women's bodies fluctuate every month -- certain time of the month in particular -- we bloat a great deal," she said. We hear that!

On her hit single "Price Tag," Jessie J sings, "It's not about the
money, money, money." Hopefully, she really feels that way, since the 12-month stretch ending last August wasn't such a lucrative time for the British pop star. According to Contactmusic.com, the singer actually
lost $32,000.
Jessie's
failure to profit might seem odd, since she nabbed two No. 1 U.K. singles and reached the top 10 in America with the tune "Domino." What's more, her debut album,
Who You Are, proved a hit in 10 countries. Still, thinks aren't as bleak as they look. As a source explained to Britain's
Sun newspaper, Jessie's payday may simply be delayed.
''Jessie's first-year figures aren't great but quite often royalties from sales and radio play take a while to come through," the source said.
It didn't help that Jessie was injured for much of last year and unable perform. Luckily, she's recovered, and she's inked endorsement deals with Vitamin Water and MasterCard. She's also profiting from her gig on the TV show "The Voice."

Justin Bieber is taking this whole turning-18 thing pretty seriously! After debuting a
mature new single, "Boyfriend," and
music video to match, the Biebs has pushed his new, sexy image even further with a shirtless photo shoot.
Bieber recently joined the video-sharing community Viddy, and he's used the application to tease his fans with a 15-second clip from a photo shoot -- one in which he flashes his abs, biceps, pecs ... you get the idea!
Meanwhile, the pop star has been challenged to "Man Up" in the
latest issue of GQ magazine. "Justin Bieber is now 18 years old. Which means, technically, he's an adult. But the question remains: Is he a
man?" the article reads. Of course, the question leads to conversation about the superstar's level of partying. "For me, it's just like, I like to be in control of myself," Bieber said. "I mean, I've had a beer, like, before ... But I never get out of control."

After nearly two seasons as a judge on "American Idol,"
Jennifer Lopez may be calling it quits. The singer hinted that she may not return to the popular singing competition show in an interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
"I really do enjoy it,"
J.Lo told Ellen of the gig, which reportedly earns her a staggering $12 million each season. Despite the hefty paycheck, the working mother-of-two may have had her fill of the all-consuming commitment. "Now this is my second year -- I don't know if I can go for a third year," she admitted. "I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down, which was nice the first year with the babies being 3, but now they're getting more mobile, they're about to go into school ... So I just don't know."
J.Lo's confession follows some warm words of
advice she gave to competitor show "The X Factor"s newest judges,
Britney Spears and
Demi Lovato. After hearing Lopez's confession about her uncertain future on "Idol," the advice seems more like a passing of the torch!

Kelly Clarkson once blasted her record company for "Photoshopping the crap" out of her on album covers, on account of her
weight, but these days, that might not be such an issue. Last night at
Entertainment Weekly and ABC's Upfront party in New York City, the singer showed of her newly
slimmed down body, cruising down the red carpet in a colorful over-the-knee floral dress.
The former "American Idol" champ recently turned 30, and while she's always denied dieting or curtailing her eating to please critics, she's noticeably fitter and trimmer than she's been in months.
"I'm never trying to lose weight -- or gain it," she told
Self in 2009. "I'm just being."

"I'm used to going into the studio and smoking and drinking until three in the morning. But I can't drink as much because I'm breastfeeding. See this glass of wine? Before, I'd have, like, four of them. Now, one is good. Oh, and I quit smoking ... I've exorcised a lot of my demons, but I'm still working on myself. I think I'll be a work in progress for the rest of my life." -- Pink
Pink was once quite to party girl, but as she tells
Cosmopolitan, she's kicked her unhealthy habits in order to breastfeed her 11-month-old baby,
Willow Sage. The singer's comments follow a controversial
Time magazine cover story about breastfeeding. Looks like we can count Pink as a supporter.

After both "American Idol"s
Jennifer Lopez and "
The X Factor"s
Britney Spears were slammed for their lack of qualifications by
"America's Got Talent"s newest judge Howard Stern, J.Lo has offered up some veteran advice for her future rival, who was officially announced as part of the
Season 2 "X Factor" judges' panel alongside
fellow newcomer Demi Lovato yesterday (May 14).
"Just be yourself," Lopez advised Britney via
ET Online. "I think it's just about really being your true self, not trying to be something that you're not.
I feel a little scared for them 'cause I was scared when I started," J.Lo, who will soon wrap her second cycle as an "Idol" judge, admitted.
